Awards are a fun concept, but often boring in execution.
It’s difficult to sit through all the nominated films and television shows in any given year, but without doing so, you can’t become fully emotionally invested in the race.
For me, the obvious solution to this problem was to create a ceremony exclusively honouring things that I have already watched – now known as the Cool Stuff Awards.
This prestigious tradition has a bumpy history.
It began on my now-defunct childhood blog before being ferried over to this shiny new site, while it has also been forced into hiatus on a couple of occasions.
However, as it now seems to be in a consistent rhythm, I thought this would be a good time to take stock of the (metaphorical) trophies handed out so far.
Analysing the results revealed the following actors and projects to be the most decorated in the history of the Cool Stuff Awards. Behold!
Most Wins
(Individual)
- Jennifer Lawrence – 3 wins
(American Hustle, mother!, Don’t Look Up) - Margaret Qualley – 2 wins

Most Wins
(Title)
- Everything Everywhere All at Once – 5 wins
- The Substance – 3 wins
- True Detective: Night Country – 3 wins
- BEEF – 3 wins
- Fargo season 2 – 3 wins
And here, for posterity, is every winner recognised so far. Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair!
