Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, one of The CW’s most critically acclaimed shows, will return for a third season. The show has received numerous nominations at both the Golden Globes and the Emmys so far in its two-year run, but has not been a huge performer in terms of same-day ratings. Therefore, this renewal was far from guaranteed and will surely put many fans at ease.
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is a musical-comedy about real estate lawyer, Rebecca Bunch (Bloom). After feeling deeply unhappy with her life in New York City, she moves to West Covina, California to try to win back a boyfriend from her teenage years. The show is available to stream on Netflix, and is the most popular show on the service in California, New York, Washington and Massachusetts.

The CW also renewed its four DC Comics super-hero shows (Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl), as well as Jane The Virgin and the long-running Supernatural.
